Agent-ready tours and stays
The problem
Independent tour operators are hard for travelers’ AI assistants to book. The facts an assistant needs, such as the minimum age or what happens if it rains, sit in brochures rather than in the catalog, so the assistant passes the listing over and a reseller takes the booking.
How it's resolved
An audit asks every listing the questions travelers’ assistants ask, through the marketplace’s public protocol, and counts what the catalog can answer. The AI drafts each missing fact from the operator’s own document and quotes the line it came from. Code checks every quote, and only the operator publishes. Then a traveler’s assistant reads the catalog through the same protocol, and code plans the day from what is published: the child’s age, start times, seats left and the budget, in integer cents. It books three operators in one checkout, paid once with a test card and split into an order per operator, with a ticket for every seat.
What you'll see
- 01Readiness: 18 of 48 questions answerable, and the sunset sail answers 1 of 8
- 02The AI drafts 20 facts from the operators’ own documents, each quoting its line; 10 answers are in no document
- 03The skipper approves her 6, and readiness rises to 24 of 48
- 04A family asks their assistant for a food tour, something active after lunch and a sunset sail on Saturday, kid-friendly, under $300
- 05Code plans 10:00, 13:00 and 18:30 for $294.00; the sail fits because its minimum age is now published
- 06One payment, three operator orders, nine tickets, and the seats drop on each operator’s manifest
Under the hood
Each business term in the video, and the Traide building block it runs on.
| In the business | On Traide |
|---|---|
| A listing’s facts | Product attributes, read through the marketplace protocol |
| A departure and its seats | Ticket variant on a capacity pool |
| The traveler’s assistant | Registered UCP platform, with signed requests |
| One checkout | UCP checkout session, completed with a test card |
| Each operator’s order | One seller order per operator |
| Tickets | Entitlements, one credential per seat |
Guardrail. Every drafted fact quotes the line it came from, and nothing is published until its operator approves it. The assistant books only what published facts support, and the payment is a test card.
- Readiness evaluation
- Grounded drafting from documents
- Agent protocols
- Planning checked in code
