Traide is a software, product and workflow orchestration consultancy led by founder James Throsby. Senior engineers who use AI expertly, with automated checks that gate every change.
Where Traide comes from
- In February 2026 Traide acquired the technology assets of Nautical Commerce: multi-vendor order management, seller onboarding, marketplace payments and headless commerce infrastructure.
- We still run that platform in production for its customers.
- In October 2026 Traide became a software, product and workflow orchestration consultancy. It takes on other teams’ hard problems with what it learned running commerce infrastructure.
How we work
- Work moves through six stages: plan, build, verify, review, ship, learn. Automated checks gate each one.
- “Quality here is a property of the machinery, not of anyone’s memory or good intentions on a given day.”
- Since June 2026, 96% of fixes to our core API have shipped with a test.
